It’s a new year and everyone starts reevaluating their life, their future, their goals and for about a month (or less) we get all deep and insist that this is the year of new beginnings! I’m going to eat healthier, volunteer, go to the gym, work hard at my job, obsess over Twilight less. Anyway, it’s a nice thought, but it can seem a little daunting. I think I plan on just taking it one day at a time for now. My goal for today: Get my a$$ off the couch and clean up the holiday debris.
But first! For your viewing pleasure – something that is totally daunting and puts life (and the afterlife) in a totally new prospective – an elevator! This video by Marco Brambilla has been out for months now but I thought it was worth posting anyway. If you can’t tell, it’s a trip from hell to heaven in concert with the elevator’s ascent up the Standard Hotel New York’s 20 stories. However it does beg the question: If you’re staying on the lower floors, are you trapped in purgatory? Hmm…
Click on the image to watch the video– it’s UH-MAZING. Trust me.
