7 Things I Learned in Maui: #4-7

4. Do not, by any means, take a lava rock (or black sand) home with you.

When we were hiking around West Maui among these lava walls, I stuck a rock in Randy’s backpack to take home as a souvenir. Fortunately it fell out on our hike before we made it back to the car. After reading these awful bad luck stories of people taking their lava rocks home with them, I’m glad it fell out!

5. Don’t stand too close to a blow hole.

These are images shot right before I was drenched by the Nakalele blow hole and my barely a year old digital camera went kaputz. May it RIP.

6. I will drink anything in a pineapple.

Yup.

7. Double rainbows do exist.
